Tea Time Reading #6

Hope you are enjoying a wonderful Autumnal Equinox, my honey bees!

Check out this 3-2-1 Tarot Spread from Catherine at Tarot Elements; a very cool spread for looking deeply at a situation and I love the sequential way it is structured.

Two words for you: Hawthorn Ketchup. Is your mouth watering already? Danielle at Gather offers up this sweet and spicy recipe to complement your savory fall dishes.

The The Tarot of Many Doors: Interdimensional divination & storytelling is a new addition to my Tarot of the QTPOC deck listing. Soon come, it is a queer deck inspired by the freedom and fantasy of speculative fiction the likes of Octavia Butler and Ursula K. Le Guin. Felix Kawitzky has created a strange and dreaming deck that feels as distant and reachable as those worlds and creatures created by these sci-fi authors.

At The Tarologist a reflection of oneness, synchronicity, and the Ace of Cups. "Self-love creates a stable foundation for all other expressions of love and emotional fulfilment... When we honour ourselves by doing what we love and practicing honest self-care, we are present to contribute our gifts to the world."

This one isn't reading so much as listening: Leila of Wild Mystic Woman chats with warrior soul L'Erin Alta on what it means to live your spiritual purpose with devotion.

I love Meadow Queen's reflections on particular cards of the tarot. Here she covers Justice, critically examining the RWS version and the improvements decks after are making on traditional notions of the card.

Courtney Alexander of the Dust II Onyx Tarot has created a publishing firm! I know there will be amazing art to come from it. Keep in touch with the all-new Black & Sage Press and support indie publishers that prioritize those marginalized in the industry.

Is your Venus polyamorous? asks Luke at LRT. Well apparently my Venus in Virgo is only a bit poly (I disagree!) but the evaluation of relationship style was pretty on point.

A lovely reflection on forgiveness from Trish Finley over here. I don't think the concept of forgiveness as a release of burdensome energy can be overstated.

Alexis has an awesome business tarot spread for us. I'm excited to try the Affirm + Manifest Tarot Spread for my own healing work. My favorite thing is that it begins with one's own vision of what they want their work to be about.

Here's something I could have used these past two weeks. A Kava Kava infused massage oil to release tension, stress, and deep muscle ache. It looks scrumptious, and likely smells divine with the addition of lavender and rose petals. One for me to try soon.

And last but certainly not least, if you weren't already deep into it, Kelly Ann Maddox is hosting her annual Self-Love September series. Check it out (and the hashtag) for awesome conversations on self-love and its importance, practice, and ritual space in our lives.
