return to center.
A gentle reminder that we can always return to ourselves after wandering away and losing our footing.
After veering off our true soul path, finding our way is sometimes as easy as taking the first step back, turning and going back the way we came.
Our feet will lead us true if we keep our spirits light and lit up.
Yesterday, began with this reading. And then I reopened my shop.
Tonight I soaked in a ritual salt bath to hold and soothe my tender heart. Precious moments in candlelight to be still and quiet and listen for my heartbeat, make peace with and give thanks for the labor it performs each day for me.
What will be your first step back home?
Home is a tenuous idea for most of us, too often it has to be cobbled together with leaves and twigs to tide us over till our shelter grows more secure. That's okay- home is what you can make it, and it grows warmer with your love and attention and colder with guilt and shame. Choose the energy you pour into it wisely.
And this equinox is perfect for this work.
As the distractions of spring and summer fall away, for those of us up here in the northern hemisphere, the first signs of autumn call us back home to prepare for the coming winter. After all, It's hard to meet the shadow of wintry introspection when we don't have a safe space created to burrow and keep warm in.
I hope this equinox energy grants you the light that lets your soul see your way back- or forward- as needed.
Happy Equinox, my loves.
