Soul Practices Spread from the Gaian Tarot

I found a great three-card spread to use for daily and weekly guidance from the Gain Tarot digital tarot app. It's called the Soul Practices spread and I find it has such a great flow and is endlessly useful as far as I can vision.

From the Gaian Tarot app's notes on the spread:

"There is no one way to practice and, indeed, every act undertaken with awareness can be the gateway to connecting with that hard-to-name sacred source."

Soul Practices Spread

1. PATH: What path would best serve my _______ (growth, transition, healing, purpose, etc) for ________ (this day, week, season, year, etc)? It is suggested that this card is drawn from the Majors and Aces.

2. PRACTICE: What practice will best serve me to move along this pathway? It is suggested that this card is drawn from the numbered Minors.

3. POSTURE: What attitudes and behaviors will be most helpful to me in undertaking this practice? It is suggested that this card is drawn from the court cards.

Today's Soul Practices Reading

1. PATH: Awakening.

2. PRACTICE: Four of Water.

3. POSTURE: Child of Earth.

For many, this feels like a time of transition- and specifically, we are called to do work to bring the transitioning to a close. We can't remain in this energy forever! We are called to look closely at how the choices we make now build the foundation for the coming season. How can we ensure that it is stable, reliable, and stubborn enough to weather what comes next?

A nourishing reflective practice, one that is re-energizing not just wallowing, will help us on our way as we figure out what these building blocks will be and who will be invited on this path with us. This can be a scary place for us to be, and that's okay. We may make mistakes, have to start some pieces over and we might also succeed and bloom into something new which can be just as scary! Move with the posture of the Child of Earth who is not afraid to get dirty, explore, and fall down to get up again.

Blessings to your Soul Practices!
