Week Ahead Reading: Path, Practice Posture
I need to do more week ahead readings. Without fail it helps me prepare for the coming week and move with a lot more awareness and discernment. I may not be able to commit to a daily reading practice, but a weekly practice keeps me in tune without feeling like just another thing on my to-do list.
Path - What sacred path would best serve this week?
This week is best served by balance and practicality. Build up slow and steady. There is a lot that will come at me this week and it’s best to choose my priorities with care and resist the urge to avoid what is necessary.
Practice - What contemplative practice will best serve me along this pathway this week?
Vigilance. I should not let annoyance or frustration distract me from my goals for the week. Shit happens- especially with Mercury doing its thing. Being adaptable, in tune with myself, and well prepared (back-up plans for the back-up plans y’all) to take it on can be the difference between success and lack thereof.
Posture - What attitudes and behaviors will be most helpful to me in undertaking this practice?
The energy running through me should reflect a mastery of emotion and internal wisdom to support my vigilance. It’s a reminder that vigilance does not have to be tense or tight.
